Approximately time of tasks based on half a year 33 hours a week (Sometimes more - sometimes less): · 3 hours a week: Young to young information - counselling - directing. This part will be situated in "Unges Rum" - a Youth activity-House based on youngsters own initiatives and responsibility. Here are many youngsters who need ears to listen and give answers in different matters. The volunteer has to me around in the house - ready to talk - on equal level. · 9 hours a week: Club-activities - Playing - sharing - joining. The Youth-Club Co-ordination in Holbęk Kommune is placed in Ungdommens Hus. The four clubs in Holbęk and the street-workers are co-ordinated in Ungdommens Hus. The volunteer are in thes clubs meant as an extra ressource in the period. He take part in the activities together with professional pedagogues. "International" evenings will be natural to create in the clubs. · 4 hours a week: Practical work in the complex - Ungdommens Hus always needs hands! Ther are every day things to do in such a house. It could be painting, writing, printing and of course a little cleaning. THE VOLUNTEER IS NOT THE CLEANER!!!!!! · 3 hours a week: Organising themes to use in between youngsters - Depends on the volunteer! What character is the volunteer? Musician ? Literate? Bricklayer? Dancer? Astronaut?? · 4 hours a week: Participating in activities in Youth-School. The youthschool has a lot of different educational programs: The volunteer can participate as a helper in for instance: Roll-games, fishing-trips, english and in our daytime school, as an extra teacher! · 2 hours a week: Participating in travels in the Youth-Shool - The youth-school make a few travels every year as skitravels, touristtravels etc. Here are sometimes the opportunity to participate as a helper. · 2 hours a week: Participating in planning of a multilateral Action 2 Youth Exchange in Holbęk in September 2002. Participants Czech, Latvia, Malta, Ireland, Greece and DK. A simular activity is hopefully coming up in 2003 · 3 hours a week: Not specified work · 3 hours a week: Language school - The language school in Holbęk is the official place to learn Danish, if you come from outside DK. · Schedule for one week could be as following: · Monday: 8.30 - 12.00: Language-School. 17.00 - 22.00: Club - activities · Tuesday: 8.30 - 12.30: Organising themes. 12.30 - 16.30: Practical works · Wednesday: 8.30 - 11.30: Not specified. 11.30 - 14.30: Young to Young. · Thursday: 11.30 - 22.00: Practical/Youth School/Diff. matters/Clubactivities · Friday - Sunday: Week-end · Holidays are placed like all other employed in the house - or if there's special occasions for something else.
