Volunteer 1 1-Support in the improvement of group dynamics to the leaders of La Rotllana in groups of teenagers (13-14 years old). Project: "Associative participation school" 2-Monitoring of the project management. 3-Promotion and participation in the activities. Tasks: 1.1 Participation in the daily activities of promotion of korfball in secondary schools. 1.2 Preparation of meetings, complementary activities and other sport activities. 1.3 Participation in planning and managing activities 1.4 Collaboration in the tasks and duties of the young people 1.5 Participation in other project activities in the neighbourhood 2.1 Monitoring of managing aspects of the project. Buying material, management of activities. 2.2 Participation in working meetings with other entiites 2.3 Monitoring of the common coordinating activities. 3.1 Participation in korfball with children at school time. 3.2 Participation in korfball with youth out of school time. 3.3 Participation in promotion of korfball as a social and educative project in secondary schools. 3.4 Collaboration in working meetings with the leaders of the social-sport project. Weekly distribution: 6 hours: language training; 4 hours: specific training; 4-5 hours: support to the volunteer in his/her integration and participation; 20 hours: activities Sunday and Monday: free Tuesday: 9-12: language training (Spanish and Catalonian); 16-20: Socio-sport activities; 16-17:30: Planning activities; 19-20 Korfball with youth Wednesday: 9-14: socio-sport activities (9-10:30: leaders meetings); 17-20: Participation in the creation of didactic material for the promotion of korfball Thursday: 9-12: language training (Spanish and Catalanish); 16-20: social and sport promotion Friday: 9-14: Monitoring of the general management of the project; 9-11: meeting with leaders for promotion; 16-20: social and sport promotion Saturday: 10-14: Specific training for the EVS project; 16-20: non-sport activities The first week will be dedicated to an intensive training programme: language and project training. They will know the organization and visit the school. We have thought about the following schedule for the first week: Monday: Welcome and getting to know the surroundings and the resources of our entity. Tuesday: Morning: Language training; Afternoon: meeting with the project responsible people, participation in korfball. Wednesday: Visit and participation of the project social and sport promotion in primary schools. Meeting with the responsible people. Afternoon: language training and visit to a youth house in La Rotllana Thursday: Meeting with teachers and director of the secondary school Julia Minguell; training; Afternoon: training; get to know the project "associative participation school" Friday: Morning and afternoon: language training Saturday: Morning: language training; Afternoon: Associative training Sunday: Visit of Badalona In the specific training there will be different subjects in every session: 1. Importance of knowing the working milieu: studying the milieu, detection of needs and possibilities. 2. Abilities to work in socio-sport projects and resources for the activities 3. Didactics for the promotion of korfball: didactic possibilities of korfball; didactics for sport aimed groups; promotion and didactics for disfavoured youth. 4. Applied work about the didactics of korfball. 5. Resources for the development of projects: concept plans, diary, planning,… 6. Elements needed to do a project: aims. objectives, contents, method, budget,.. 7. Advanced methodological techniques for sport efficiency: practical session 8. Acquired training and associative experiences. Volunteer 2 1-Support with the project "Variable academic credits of korfball in secondary schools" to the leaders 2-Monitoring of the project management. 3-Promotion and participation in the activities in the youth house. Tasks: 1.1 Participation in the sports organization of the group 1.2 Participation and collaboration in the organization of the meeting about credits. 1.3 Participation and collaboration in the design and improvement of the didactic material created for the credits 1.4 Collaboration in the management of the project: material, coordination, management of activities, trips, talks,... 1.5 Collaboration in supporting the volunteers with their management tasks 2.1 Participation in the planning of the educative project with the leaders of La Rotllana. 2.2 Participation in the interdisciplinar educative project 2.3 Collaboration in the monitoring of some of the participants 3.1 Participation in the programming of activities 3.2 Collaboration in the management of the activities 3.3 Participation in the diffusion of the sport activities of La Rotllana Weekly distribution: 6 hours: language training; 4 hours: specific training; 4-5 hours: support to the volunteer in his/her integration and participation; 20 hours: activities Sunday and Monday: free Tuesday: 9-12: language training (Spanish and Catalonian); 16-20:social and sport activities; 16-17:30: Planning of activities; 6-8 p.m.: korfball with youth. Thursday: 9-12: language training (Spanish and Catalonian); 16-20: Monitoring of the general management of the project. Friday: 9-12: Development of the academic credit; 13-14: Monitoring and planning of the credit; 17-20: individual monitoring Saturday: 10-14: Specific training for the EVS project The first week will be dedicated to an intensive training programme: language and project training. Afternoon: language training and visit to a youth house in La Rotllana Thursday: Meeting with teachers and director of the secondary school Julia Minguell; training; Afternoon: training; get to know the project "associative participation school" Friday: Morning and afternoon: language training Saturday: Morning: language training; Afternoon: Associative training Sunday: Visit of Badalona The interculturallity of this project is clear as the participants in our association come from countries of the Magreb, South America, Asia and Eastern Europe, and, of course, from Spain. We also promote the different cultures by having one day a month dedicated to the exposition of the different cultures in the centre. There are also many gypsies in the schools. The presence of the volunteers, coming from other countries will be an added value to this matter. This project is coordinated by the project TAE, Treatment and adaptation to education, carried out in different schools in Barcelona. Sundays and Mondays are free; on Sundays, the cultural offer of Badalona and Barcelona is very big. The volunteers will have 2 days of holidays per work of month. During their free time they will be supported by the youth in the association and by their mentor Description of the rest of the tasks: -Support to group dynamics: in the youth club there are two groups which regularly meet 2 days to plan the activities and a third one to do the activities themselves. The volunteers will improve the group dynamics, participate in the aims, accompany the participants and participate in the activities. -Monitoring of the management of the project: volunteers will meet with the group leaders and other volunteers participating in the project to plan management, do the monitoring of the project, do individual monitoring of some participants, preparation of activities and proposals of activities. -Tutories: at least once a week with their mentor (more often if necessary). Matters such as board and lodging, free time, cultural adaptation, language,... will be dealt with. -Interdisciplinary work: A place where students and teachers meet. The volunteers will get in contact with professionals of the field with which they will work. -Monitoring of the management of the youth project of La Rotllana: project in coordination with the rest of the organization, sharing activities and resources. -Responsibility: the volunteers will always be accompanied and monitored by the leaders and members of La Rotllana with more experience. The volunteers will have as much responsibility as they will to take, feeling comfortable and independent. As possibility of a personal project, we hope that the volunteers can start such a project in their countries, getting as much support from our organization as they need.
