Within our team the volunteer's tasks will be evolving time by time depending on the interest of the volunteer and his/hers motivation. In the first period he/she will get acquainted with the organization, the office, the staff and will receive information, material about our movement. In a second moment together with the staff of Europeisk Ungdom the volunteer will help planning the trips, fixing appoitements with schools and taking contacts with the other organizations. Then the volunteer will visit schools together with our young activists and will give his/her contribution speaking about his/her country, history, traditions and european awareness. It's very important for us that he/she transfers to the others his/her feelings about EU, impressions, tells about his/her own country, how do they experience it, what is changing etc… The hypotetic week-timetable below is supposed to be flexible according to the needs of the volunteer and the host organization. Monday: working starts at 10 AM in Europeisk Ungdom. Preparing the week-schedule, staff meetings, developing personal ideas, arranging meetings, presentation of different aspect of his/her country, norwegian course untill 3 o'clock. Lunch break 11,30 - 12,00 in Europeisk Ungdom. Tuesday: office 10 AM - 3 PM. The time will be spent mostly in preparing the presentations and the materials for the visit or in implement the personal idea. Lunch break 11,30 - 12,30. Wednesday/Thursday: 10 AM - 3 PM, meeting schools, students and other organizations. The lunch break can change according to the needs. Friday: 10 AM - 3 PM at the office, meeting with the mentor, evaluation of the week, suggestions, communication, norwegian course etc… Saturday/Sunday: free Sometime in the evevning or on the week-end there will be some special events, seminars, gatherings, theme evenings etc.. The volunteer could be required to help us in these occasions as well, but will then be given some time off to compensate for extra working hours.
