| Very nice project, but very difficult one! You are in the middle of the countryside where people haven't heard at all about youth work! Mentality can be very closed, but if you respect people and show them that you try to learn Greek and get interest about Greek culture and traditions, they will feel very happy. As a rule Greece is a very nice country, and living in a countryside is a very big challenge. If you cannot stand to live on your own in a remote area where there is almost nothing, better choose a project in a town. Before going to EVS my expectations were to meet other people and to make a work experience. I got much more than that: instead of meeting people, I met myself! Sometimes it is not easy to face yourself everyday, but you get to learn VERY MUCH! | |
