About me
Hej this is Astrid from DK, who went to France some years ago.
I'm now studying Scandinavian Languages and Literature in Copenhagen, and from september 2003 I'll continue my studies in Lund (Sweden) where I'll do idea history.
I'm interested in almost everything (ok, perhaps not everything!!), but in particular I'm a passioned music lover and try to play and listen as much as possible (I play viola myself). I went for EVS mostly because I needed to see somthing more of the world than what my own small country could offer. Furthermore I was interested in the social aspect that EVS offered - that it wasn't just holiday but a chance to get into another culture and do something useful.
I learned so much during my EVS that there's not enough space here to list it, but in keywords:
- French and German
- Flexibility
- The feeling of being a foreinger
- An ability to handle cultures that differs from my own
