17 Apr 04 - Meeting in Brussels - Saturday the 24th of April

Hi European Volunteers!

We have a new Meeting-point!!! Our next activity will be in Brussels on Saturday the 24th of April 2004.

What’s the program?

Because Belgium is famous for its comics and Brussels is a great city, we will focus on this theme. We’ll have a “comic-tour” in the city centre of Brussels! We’ll show you the great comic-wall drawings. (Don’t forget walking shoes and rain cloths if necessary)

Where & When?

We’ll meet in Brussels Central Station at 13:00h. We’ll be recognizable by a flashy Meetingpoint symbol (you’ll see) up the big stairs in the hall of the station. Be there in time! If you can’t make it or only later, let us know before or call to the meetingpoint-mobile (0494 – 29 05 35), so that we can arrange something. The walk will end between 17:00 and 18:00, this is the end of the “official” meetingpoint program . Afterwards we can celebrate the birthday of Oxfam, a thirdworld-organisation. This celebration is at Tour&Taxis, where a lot of nice performances are organised.

What does it cost?

We try to keep things as cheap as possible, so we ask only 2 Euro. During the walk we will probably stop in a bar to have a drink, so some pocket money can be useful. If you want to stay for the evening, we’ll suggest some friendly priced nice places to eat (and depending on your plans for the night you take extra money of course)
