27 Mar 05 - Ex EVS let's do more
I’m Akvilë from Lithuania. We are very young ex-evs association from Lithuania. It is very interesting for us to know more about the associations abroad. What are your goals and how do you plan to reach them, do you have enough interested and active people, what have you done already and how do you organize everything?
We are planning to do youth exchange this summer here in Lithuania and looking for partners.
The aim of the exchange is to create an opportunity for ex eve’s (more for associations) from Europe to meet and to share their experience and to make plans for future, to create the strategy how to promote EVS and voluntary service. Also to renovate office of “SALTES” and to integrate short term EVS volunteers.
The project it self will take place in the middle of July. And we also would like to have PW before (1-3 of July). We want to organize project with at least 4 countries.
If you interested in this projects please send to us agreement as soon as possible (the latest till 26 of March).
Our association aims are:
- To spread and promote ideas of voluntary and not formal education
- To unify ex-EVS volunteers
- To stimulate cultural cooperation and raise socio-culture competence of young people
The gaols of SALTES are:
- To raise EU program “Youth for Europe” quality, to support and help sending, hosting organizations and volunteers.
- To develop cooperation with partners from different countries whom activities are based on voluntary and not formal education.
- To publish information about voluntary, not formal education.
- We wish to organize seminars, trainings, projects about voluntary and not formal education.
- To organize space for EX volunteers in Lithuania.
